Increase in Salary
Telangana Chief Minister KCR has announced the increase of the remuneration of Anganwadi workers as a gift on
the occasion of International Women’s Day . The increased remuneration is from Rs. 4,200/- to Rs. 7,000/- and
that of helpers from Rs. 2,450 to Rs. 4,500/-.Telangana CM KCR said that the Integrated Child Development Scheme(ICDS)
run by Anganwadi centres will get a one-time grant of Rs. 1,000 to purchase utensils for the poor pregnant, lactating women
and malnutrition child in order to provide proper nutrition supplement.
Telangana Chief Minister has given word to ,Anganwadi Teachers and Helpers to increase
in their salary as they demanded. The increased salary will get from March-2015 payment.
The Anganwadi Teachers and Helpers, who servers worth fully to the preprimary children were
given small amount of salary. For a longtime they fought severely against the less salary to them,
and demanded a huge hike in their salary.
Anganwadi Supervisors Notification
Telangana Chief Minister promised to Anganwadi teachers a pretty hike in their salary after Anganwadi Teachers and Helpers met
to CM KCR. The filling of supervisor posts are also filled with only in service Anganwadi teachers only based on the experience
and educational qualifications. And also Telangana Chief Minister has given boon regarding Pensions, Food security cards, Life
Insurance to the Anganwadi workers.
CM KCR meeting in D-Block
Telangana Chief Minister, KCR has conducted meeting at D-Block with Anganwadi workers, Helpers and Supervisors. CM patiently heard
the demands of Anganwadi workers. The meeting lasts up to nearly three hours. KCR claimed Anganwadi Teaches as their own sisters
and appreciated their dedication towards run of successfully preprimary schools on par with regular schools with less salary.
He instructed to the officials to release the monthly salaries regularly without any delay. Women welfare Chief Secretary Smt.
