Rc No.405, Academic Calendar for Telangana Schools, Timetable, and Internal Examination Schedule has been issued by the Director of School Education Telangana. The issuing of Rc 405 is based on norms and modalities laid in the Right Education Act(RTE)-2015 and Govt. Memo No. 1840/SE.Prog.II/A2/ 2015, Dated: 09.06.2015.
The Director of School Education (DSE), Telangana has instructed to all RJDSEs and DEOs to follow the instructions regarding the academic calendar and academic related issues.
Primary Schools(PS) Timings
- Total Working hours : 7 hours including Lunch Break, Interval
- School Start Timings : 9.00 AM
- School Close Timings: 4.00 PM
- Lunch Break : 12.10 PM to 01.00 PM
- Number of Periods : 08 Periods
Upper Primary School Timings
- Total Working hours : 7 1/2 hours including Lunch Break, Interval
- School Start Timings : 9.00 AM
- School Close Timings: 4.30 PM
- Lunch Break : 12.30 PM to 01.20 PM
- Number of Periods : 08 Periods
High Schools Timings
- Total Working hours : 7 1/2 hours including Lunch Break, Interval
- School Start Timings : 9.30 AM
- School Close Timings: 5.00 PM
- Lunch Break : 1.00 PM to 2.00 PM
- Number of Periods : 08 Periods
Note : No change of time for GHMS located schools. Present timings will continue
- Summer Vacation of Schools : The summer vacation for Schools will be from 24th April to 11th June 2015. The schools will be re-opens on 12th June 2015.
Dussehra, Sankranthi Holidays
- Dussehra Holidays : First term holidays for Dussehra is from 10th October 2015 to 25th October 2015.
- Sankranthi Holidays : Second term holidays for Sankranthi will be from 11th January 2016 to 17th January,2016.
