APTET Notification Dec-2017 for applying online application and computer based test(CBT) has been released by Commissioner of School Education, Amaravathi. The APTET Notification is based on the GO.91 Dt:11/12/2017 and previously issued tentative schedule and Paper-I & Paper-II Syllabus.

AP Govt. is planning to conduct through a Computer Based Test. The CBT is completely objective type and meet the standards of NCTE and ensure the quality in the DSC-2018 recruitment process .

Apply Online for APTET
The application for APTET is completely Online, no Manual application entertained. Online applications are invited for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-December, 2017) from candidates for all those aspiring to be Teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, ZillaParishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private un-aided schools in Andhra Pradesh State for classes I to VIII.
APTET Eligibility
All aspirants who passed D.Ed.,/ B.Ed., LP or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses during the academic year 2016-2017 with requisite percentage of marks obtained as given in information bulletin of APTET can appear for APTET.
APTET Paper-I & Paper-II through CBT
AP TET is now completely Computer Based Test and it contains 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. Those who are intend to teacher I to V have to appear for Paper-I and those who are intend to teach VI to VIII need appear Paper-II. For this syllabus also released by the Commissioner of School Education.

APTET Examination FEE
The fee for APTET exam towards submission of application online and for the conduct of computer based examination is Rs.500/- for each Paper-I & Paper-II. Candidates shall pay the fee through payment Gateway from 18.12.2017 to 31.12.2017 and submit online application at the APTET website http://cse.ap.gov.in from 18.12.2017 to 01.01.2018. Note:- If the candidate desires to apply for both papers he/she has to pay Rs.500/- for each paper

Detailed procedure for applying ONLINE is given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates can download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the APTET website: http://cse.ap.gov.infrom 14.12.2017 onwards. Candidates can submit their applications online from 18.12.2017 to 01.01.2018.
APTET Exam Centers
The APTET 2017 shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’ in the 13 districts on the above mentioned dates (i.e. 17.01.2018 to 27.01.2018). Candidates may give the preferential order of the centres. However, allotment of centres shall be the discretion of the department and request for change of test centres or sessions is not allowed under any circumstances.
APTET Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants at the time of applying for APTET, December 2017 should be in possession of the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for I to V classes (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II) . The candidates who are pursuing final year can also appear for the APTET December, 2017.
APTET Structure, Content and Syllabus
The structure and content of each part of Paper-I and Paper-II of the fourth APTET, and the breakup of the total 150 marks among various parts of the paper are given in the Information Bulletin. Syllabus for APTET can be downloaded from http://cse.ap.gov.in.
Pass Criteria in TET
- OC 60% Marks and above
- BC 50% Marks and above
- SC 40% Marks and above
- ST 40% Marks and above
- Differently abled (PH) ** 40% Marks and above
- Ex-servicemen 40% Marks and above
Validity period of AP TET Certificate
APTET Certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.
Weightage for APTET Scores in selection in DSC
20% weightage will be given to APTET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment of the State Government. In other words, 20% weightage is for APTET score and 80% weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT)
