First Register the the One Time Profile Registration (OTPR)

Here are we are explaining,  how to register at APPSC web portal as it is first step to apply for Departmental examinations. The One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) is generally completed by applicants on the Commission’s website, available at http://psc.ap.gov.in. After the application registers his or her information, a User ID is generated and given to the applicant’s registered email address and mobile number. Through the official Commission’s website, applicants must submit an application for the tests using their OTPR User ID.

Where Can I get AP Departmental Schedule?

The candidates must download the AP Departmental Tests Exam Schedule along with the guidelines and instructions to the candidates from the official website https://psc.ap.gov.in.The applicants must arrive one and a half hours before the start of the test with the required ID evidence in original form in order to be admitted to the tests.

Last Date for Apply online April 10, 2022

From 14/09/2022, the application will be accessible on the Commission’s website (https://psc.ap.gov.in). The deadline to submit an online application is April 10, 2022. (04.10.2022 is the last date for payment of fee up to 11:59PM). Application forms that are handwritten, typed, photocopied, or printed will not be accepted in person, by mail, or over the phone.

  • All the Tests, except Language and Survey Tests will be in Objective Type in terms.
  • The Language Test papers  and Survey & Settlement papers  will be of conventional mode.
  • All the objective type papers will be held on Computer Based Departmental Tests(CBDT). Instructions regarding this Computer Based Test.
  • The candidates appearing for Objective Type papers may use Mock Test facility available on Commission’s Website https://psc.ap.gov.in, to acquaint with the Computer Based Tests.
  • The candidates appearing for Conventional Papers (Descriptive Exams) will be supplied with Bar code sheet attached Answer Books to be answered with Blue or Black Pen.

APPSC Departmental Test Exam Centers

APPSC Departmental Test will be conducted at all the newly formed  26 districts. The candidates will be allotted to the exam in the present working district, where the candidate is presently working as mentioned in the application. If sufficient accommodation is not available in their working district, some of the candidates will be allotted to their nearest district as they choose in the provided.

APPSC Dept. Test Eligibility Criteria

Employees who are working under state government of AP are eligible for the Dept. Test in their respective Departmental Service Rules. The Secretariat employees are allowed to appear for the following Tests, wherever the rules permit in order to get eligibility for appointment by transfer/ promotion to other Services. Typists-cum-Assts. working in Finance and Planning (Finance Wing) are eligible to appear for the Treasuries & Accounts Service Examination.

How to pay Exam Fee and Mode of Payment

The prescribed fee for each exam Paper is Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only). The candidates shall pay Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five Hundred Only) towards application
processing fee, besides the examination fee.

Candidates has to pay online exam fee using payment gateway Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card. The fee once paid will non be refunded. Fee paid using IPOs and Demand Drafts(DD) will not accepted. For correction entries like name, personal details Rs.100/- will be charged.

How to Apply Online APPSC Departmental Test

Applicants who wish to apply for APPSC Departmental Test should follows instructions as specified below. The details steps to apply online is provided hereunder. Applicants shall read the instructions and go through it before submission online APPSC application.

STEP -I : Candidates who are applying for the first time should fill OTPR application to obtain User ID(OTPR ID). Careful attention should be taken while filling the OTPR. Before final submit candidates should ensure the correctness of the details.

STEP-II: Candidates who completed first step can proceed to this step. Candidates has to login to APPSC website using the credentials which already set by candidates. After basic details applicant now has to click on the payment link. Applicant has to verify all the details that are displayed in the website. If you want to change the details, applicant should use Modify OTPR link to modify details.

STEP-III : After satisfying yourself with all the data entered applicant has to submit payment form. On successful submission the payment reference ID is generated.

STEP-IV: After getting payment reference ID, applicant is directed to the application form. In the application form payment ID should be provided and all personal details will be populated. Applicant should check the data thoroughly and should fill the application as required like Exam Center, Exam Code etc.

STEP-V : In case you fail the payment process, then applicant should start from the step payment process as in STEP-II.

SEPT-VI:In case applicant wants to change paper codes, can change in the application form. Fields like Name, Personal Details are not allowed to change.

Publication of APPSC Departmental Test Results

Candidates who have passed provisionally will be displayed at notice board of Commission’s office. The results also hosted on the official website https://psc.ap.gov.in . The results published on the website considered as authentic publication for extending all benefits to the candidates who provisionally declared to have passed.
