AP Schools Water Bell at 8.45 am, 10.05 am, 11.50 am Three Times
Commissioner of School has issued Rc.No.ESE02-30/11/2024-A&I -CSE Dated:02/04/2024 regarding implementation of Water-Bill activity in all schools. Water bell should be implemented thrice a day i.s at 8:45 am, 10:05 am, and 11:50 am in all schools.

Dear District Educational Officers of AP State and all MEO’s, We’re reaching out to inform you about the recent rise in temperatures across our state. It’s been noted that temperatures are higher than usual in many areas, with a further increase of 2-3 degrees expected in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions over the next two days. We advise everyone to take extra precautions when exposed to direct sunlight during this time.
Recognizing the risks associated with high temperatures, particularly dehydration, the Department is proposing the implementation of a “water-bell” initiative in all schools statewide. This initiative aims to encourage student hydration during school hours to support their mental and physical well-being.
A Special Bell will Ring Three Times a Day at 8:45 am, 10:05 am, and 11:50 am
Under this proposed activity, a special bell will ring three times a day at 8:45 am, 10:05 am, and 11:50 am in all schools across the state. The purpose of this bell is to remind both students and teachers to prioritize hydration for better health outcomes. Teachers are urged to ensure that all students drink water during these designated times.
We kindly request all District Educational Officers to instruct the Headmasters of schools under their jurisdiction to make the “water-bell” a mandatory activity. This proactive measure will significantly contribute to ensuring the well-being of our students, especially during the hot summer months.
