Required Qualification for APPSC Group-I Posts

APPSC Group I Recruitment Age Limit

How to Apply Online APPSC Group-I

  1. Visit the official website https://psc.ap.gov.in.
  2. Complete the One-Time-Profile-Registration (OTPR) process.
  3. Click on “New Registration for Direct Recruitment” on the opened page.
  4. Enter required information: Aadhaar Details, Basic Details, Address Details, Educational Qualifications, and upload Photo and Signature.
  5. Review the entered information carefully and click on Submit.
  6. A Reference Id will be generated and displayed on the screen.
  7. Go to the Login page and enter your credentials.
  8. Fill in the form details, verify them, and submit the application.
  9. Complete the payment process after successful verification.
  10. Once payment is done, a payment reference id will be generated.
  11. Submit the form and save/print the application receipt.

APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam Syllabus and Exam Duration

The preliminary exam, held offline throughout Andhra Pradesh, is a screening test designed to eliminate non-serious candidates from the APPSC Group 1 exam. The admit card for the APPSC Group 1 Prelims is usually released seven to eight days prior to the exam. Importantly, the prelims exam is solely qualifying, and the marks obtained will not contribute to the final merit list of APPSC Group 1. APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam

Candidates who clear the prelims exam must also pass the APPSC Group 1 main exam to complete the examination process. The Main exam is conducted in a conventional offline mode. The marks obtained in the main exam contribute to the merit list of APPSC Group 1. The main exam consists of seven conventional written question papers. While the English and Telugu papers are qualifying in nature, their marks are not considered for the merit list. The remaining five papers in General Studies determine the final list.
