AP Samagra Shiksha (APSS), CMO Wing has issued guidelines regarding the appointment of Witnesses for the Mega Parent Teacher Meeting 2.0 (MPTM 2.0) to be held on 10th July 2025 across all Government, Private Aided, and Unaided Schools and Junior Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. 📌 Highlights of MPTM 2.0 Witness Guidelines

  • No need for Witness to be a Government Employee

  • Witness can be:
    ✅ Sarpanch
    ✅ MPTC Member
    ✅ Retired Government Employee
    ✅ School Donor / Alumni
    ✅ Any credible member of the school community

  • Witness registration is mandatory only for the Guinness World Record attempt.

  • Witness details must be submitted in the LEAP App > PTM Module > Witness Registration Tab before 5th July 2025, 9:00 PM.

🗓️ Mega PTM 2.0 Schedule

  • Date of Event: 10th July 2025

  • Expected Participation: Over 2.28 Crores across Government, Aided & Private Schools

This initiative is aimed at setting a Guinness World Record for the Largest Parent Teacher Meeting ever conducted.

📌 Witness Eligibility Criteria

  • Should be independent of the Education Department and the parent community.

  • Can be from any credible profession like:

    • Lawyers

    • Police Officers

    • Accountants

    • Local Community Leaders

  • Should not be:

    • School staff

    • Parent of a student from the same school

    • Government teacher

📲 Witness Registration Instructions (LEAP App)

  1. Identify an independent witness by 5th July 2025, 9:00 PM

  2. Register witness in LEAP App > PTM Module > Witness Registration Tab

  3. Upload ID Proof of the witness (from their current organization)

  4. Ensure that the witness is available full-time during the event (8:00 AM till conclusion)

👤 Duties of the Witness on MPTM Day (10th July 2025)

  • Must be physically present at the assigned school from 8:00 AM

  • Visit all classrooms to:

    • Count the number of parents

    • Count the number of teachers

  • Login into LEAP App and verify attendance data

  • Fill the Witness Statement Template (manually or digitally)

  • Submit the final report with all required details

📝 Witness Statement Template – Key Fields

  1. Record Title: Largest Attendance to a Parent Teacher Meeting – Multiple Venues

  2. Application Reference Number: (To be provided)

  3. Contact Information: Name, Email, Mobile, Organisation, Nationality

  4. Observation: Record guidelines followed

  5. Field of Expertise: Professional background

  6. Final Count: Number of Parents and Teachers Present

  7. Venue Details: School name, City, State

  8. Presence Timeline: Date and Time

  9. Signature and Date

📂 SOP for Documentation

  • DEOs and APCs must circulate the Witness Statement Template (Annexure-I) and Standard Operating Procedure (Annexure-II) to all schools.

  • All Headmasters must ensure compliance and coordinate with the assigned witness.
