Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test-2022(TS TET-2022) Latest Guidelines

Go.8 TS TET 2022 Guidelines: TS Govt. has issued TS TET-2022 certain amendment guidelines on eligibility conditions based on the Right to Education Act(RTE) and Free and Compulsory Education to the Students. The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test(TS TET-2022) will be conducted based on the NCTE, Delhi Regulations, Director of School Education Telangana Propositions. The complete latest guidelines as in GO Ms No.8 Dt:23/03/2022 regarding the conduct of TS TET-2022, Provisions in RTE-2009, Revised amendment in TET is as follows.

TS TET-2022 Latest  Guidelines

  • As per Go Ms.36 School Education (Training) Dept., dt.23.12.2015 Guidelines /Instructions were issued for conducting Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE) 2009.
  • From the Director, School Education & Chairperson, TET, Telangana, Hyderabad Lr. Rc. No . 1195 /TSTET/2018, dt: 30.11.2021 8521.12.2021, the Director of School Education & Chairman, TS TET, Telangana, Hyd., has proposed certain amendments to the Guidelines /Instructions,  in pursuance of NCTE, New Delhi guidelines .
  • Government, after careful examination of the proposal and in pursuance of the guidelines issued by the NCTE, New Delhi, hereby issue following amendments to the G.O Ms No.36, School Education (Trg) Department, dt.23.12.2015.

TS TET- 2022 Amendments

In Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test- 2022, certain changes and amendments are happened. The complete changes in eligibility criteria are as follows.

Under Rule 1. Eligibility criteria for candidates for appearing TS TET

Rule 1 (a) Rule 1 (a)
(i)  Intermediate     /    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.        However      m      case       of SC/ST/BC/Differently                Abled candidates, the minimum  marks shall be 45% AND pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

/  4- year  Bachelor  of Elementary

. Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

(i) Intermediate /  Senior  Secondary (or its equivalent) with  at  least 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently               Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

/ 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

(ii) Intermediate     /    Senior Secondary· (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks.             In           respect             of SC/ST/BC/Differently                Abled candidates, the  minimum  marks shall be 40% AND pass in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

/ 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2- year Diploma   m   Education    (Special Education) in case of candidate, who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed/D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines.

(iii) Graduation with at least 50% marks, however in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates, the m1n1mum marks shall be  45AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

/Bachelor of Education(Special Education).

“A person who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher  shall   mandatorily undergo a six month  Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher”.

Under Rule 9, qualifying marks in TET. iss e ofMemos/Certificates and their validity.

Rule 9 (c) Rule 9 (c)
The validity of Certificates shall be for a period of 7  years from the date of TET concerned. The Validity Period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life.

This provision will have retrospective effect from the date of enforcement of TET Guidelines i.e.,

11.02.2011.

The Director of School Education and Director, SCERT, Telangana, Hyd, shall take necessary action accordingly.
