Detailed Guidelines on MEGA PTM 3.0 on 5th December 2025
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting 3.0 (MPTM 3.0) for the Academic Year 2025–26, to be held on 5th December 2025 across all Government schools and Junior Colleges in the state. This initiative aims to strengthen the connection between parents, teachers, and schools, ensuring better support for each student’s academic and personal development. Lunch will be provided to all parents and other guests during the Mega PTM.

Importance of Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM)
Parent-Teacher Meetings play a crucial role in:
- Helping parents understand their child’s academic progress and behavior.
- Improving awareness about students’ social and emotional needs.
- Providing a common platform for teachers and parents to work together for the child’s improvement.
- Encouraging better communication, cooperation, and community participation.
Success of Previous Mega Parent-Teacher Meetings in AP
The State of Andhra Pradesh has already conducted two highly successful Mega PTMs:

To continue the impact of these initiatives, the Government has decided to conduct Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting 3.0 across the state in a coordinated and meaningful way.
All RJDSEs, DEOs, and APCs are directed to:
- Disseminate the guidelines and minute-to-minute programme schedules to all DyEOs, MEOs, Principals, and Headmasters.
- Ensure proper planning and execution at the school and college levels.
- Work together to achieve the objectives of MPTM 3.0 on the notified day.
Instructions to District and Regional Authorities
- RJDSEs must coordinate with DEOs and APCs within their jurisdiction.
- They should ensure full preparedness for the programme in all institutions.
- All stakeholders must strictly follow the issued guidelines and schedules.
- Proper communication and monitoring are essential for the event’s success.
