The Government of Andhra Pradesh has released G.O.Ms.No.33 dated 31-07-2025, regarding staff reapportionment, post creation, and amendments to teacher allotment norms in various management schools – Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, and Municipal Schools. This G.O. ensures compliance with Right to Education Act 2009 and facilitates better teacher-student ratios.

🏫 Revised Teacher Allotment Norms
- High Schools:
- Second section allowed at 50 students (revised from 54).
- Additional sections for every 40 students beyond this.
- Foundational Schools (PP1, PP2, Classes 1–2):
- 1 SGT for 1–20 students
- 2 SGTs for 21–60 students (Earlier norm: 1–30 = 1 SGT, 31–60 = 2 SGTs)
- Model Primary Schools (PP1 to Class 5):
- Up to 59: 1 MPS HM/SA + 3 SGTs
- 60 to 150: 1 MPS HM/SA + 4 SGTs
- For every additional 30 students beyond 150, allot 1 extra SGT
- 🔹 If enrollment is between 121–150 and surplus SGTs are available, allot an additional SGT.
🧑🏫 Creation and Conversion of Teaching Posts
- Total of 1901 Posts Created
- 1 Grade-II Headmaster
- 1,563 School Assistant (SA) Posts
- 337 Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) Posts
- Redesignation of 4,951 HMs as Model Primary School Headmasters/School Assistants
- Adjustment from existing surplus posts and HoD pool to optimize staff availability.
