ORDER
All the Regional Joint Directors, the District Educational Officers, the Mandal Educational Officers, Head Masters and Teachers of the state are informed that, as part of curricular reforms in the School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh, new text books were introduced for Class X from the academic year 2024-25. New Hindi text books are introduced for the academic year 2025-26. Certain reforms have been taken up to strengthen conceptual learning by aligning with NEP-2020 and NCF-2023 guidelines under PARAKH, NCERT
recommendations. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has issued further revised blueprints in July 2026 incorporating competency-based skills.
It is further informed that a structured preparation programme titled Mission March SSC-2027 (Action Plan Phase-I) will be implemented from 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM every day (excluding Sundays, general holidays and examination days). The first half hour shall be utilized for revision and the next half hour for conducting daily slip tests according to the prescribed schedule.
This programme enables students, particularly Raising Stars (Level-1) and Shining Stars (Level-2), to improve their learning outcomes. Teachers shall conduct daily class tests, analyse results and provide feedback to help students progress from existing
levels towards excellence.
It is instructed that the programme shall be implemented in all Government Management Schools (except private schools) from 13-07-2026 to 30-11-2026 (excluding Sundays, general holidays and examination days). Regional Joint Directors, District Educational Officers and Mandal Educational Officers shall monitor implementation.
Guidelines
- Head Masters are responsible for implementation of the plan in coordination with subject teachers. The classroom day/date-wise schedule is attached in the annexure.
- Board of Secondary Education (DGE, AP) will release subject-wise study material, question banks and day-wise slip tests separately for Raising Stars (Level-1) and Shining Stars (Level-2). Teachers shall download and use the material from the LEAP App.
- These material designed for both RAISING STARS (LEVEL–1) & SHINING STARS (LEVEL–2) separately. Teachers are advised to ensure LEVEL-1 questions are learned by all students. LEVEL-2 questions shall be practiced by students securing A & B grades.
- All the Head Masters and teachers should adhere to the plan/timetable 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM every day, chapters/slip tests and other practices specified in the plan without any deviation.
- All subject teachers shall prepare the students from 4.00 PM to 4.30 PM as per the prescribed schedule and conduct the slip test from
4.30 PM to 5.00 PM separately for both levels of students. All slip test papers subject-wise and day-wise for both RAISING STARS (LEVEL–1) and SHINING STARS (LEVEL–2) shall be made available in the LEAP App according to the schedule. Schools/teachers are permitted to prepare their own slip test papers if necessary.- Provide remedial teaching to slow learners.
- Give intensified guidance to merit students.
- Evaluate the slip test papers and maintain the marks register.
- Counselling and motivational classes must be conducted for students who face difficulties or stress in achieving the prescribed level at required intervals.
- The Head Masters and teachers are directed to follow the revised blueprint and two model papers hosted by DGE, AP on the official website: bse.ap.gov.in.
- Any deviations shall be informed immediately and prior permission shall be obtained from the competent authorities.
