• Last Date of Apply : 30th November 2016
• Entrance Examination: 15 January 2017 (Sunday)

The main aim of Sainik Schools is to prepare the boys academically, mentally and physically for entry into National Defence Academy. The curriculum of is 10+2 CBSE system. The last date of filled application to reach the office is 30th November 2016. The date of entrance examination for admission into VI and IX is on 15 January 2017.

Age Limit

For admission into VI Class need born between 02 July 2006 & 01 July 2007 and for admission into IX Class born between 02 July 2003 & 01 July 2004.

Examination Centres

Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur, Srikakulam, Hyderabad and Karimnagar.

Reservation

Reservation is based on norms prescribed in the notification for ST 15%, ST 7.5% & Defence including Ex-servicemen 25%.

How to get Prospectus, Application Form

Prospectus, Application Form and question paper of previous years can be obtained by post from “Principal, Sainik School, Korukonda”, Vizianagaram District, A.P – 535 214, on payment of Rs.475/- (Rupees Four Hundred and Seventy Five only) or Rs.325/- (Rupees Three Hundred and Twenty Five only in case of SC & ST) through DD drawn in favour of “Principal, Sainik School, Korukonda” payable at State Bank of India, Sainik School Korukonda Branch, Code No.2791. Payment through MO and IPO will not be accepted. Requisition for Prospectus should clearly indicate Class for admission, Category (General / Defence / SC / ST) and Medium for Entrance Exam. Previous years‟ question papers will be made available only till stocks last on additional payment of Rs.25/- (Rupees Twenty Five only) per set.

Prospectus and application form will be available at school office for sale from 17 Oct to18 Nov 2016 on all working days (or) may be downloaded from the school website www.sainikschoolkorukonda.org Downloaded application form may be duly filled and sent alongwith a DD for Rs.475/- for Gen/Def category or Rs.325/- for SC/ST category drawn in favour of „Principal, Sainik School, Korukonda‟ payable at State Bank of India, Sainik School Korukonda Branch, Code No.2791.

Last Date for Submission of application

Last Date for completed application forms to reach this school is 30 Nov 16 repeat 30 Nov 16. Application forms should be sent by post only and will not be accepted in person or by hand. Delay, if any, caused due to postal or any other reason will not be accepted.
