AP Model School Notification 2017-18 for admission into 6th Class has been issued by K.Sandhyarani I.Po.S, School Education Commissioner, Amaravathi on 10/01/2017. The test will be conducted on 05/03/2017 Sunday from 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM. The test will be in Telugu and English medium. The medium of instruction in school is English only. No fee collection will be entertained during the course of instruction.
For appearing the AP Model School Entrance Test 2015-16, students should apply online mode only. The Model School Entrance Test will be conducted in Telugu/English Medium from 5th Class Syllabus. No need to pay any fees for the admission into the model school.
Eligibility Criteria for Admissions
Age
- Age should between 01/09/2005 and 31/08/2007 for OC, BC students. For SC, ST students age should be 01/09/2003 and 31/08/2007.
- Student should study in the Government School or Government recognized School continuously and should be studying in school during the academic year 2016-17 in 5th class.

- After satisfying the require qualifications as stated above for admission into 6th Class, go to nearest AP Online/ Mee Seva Online centers between 18/01/2017 to 04/02/2017 apply online.
- Parental Income should not exceed Rupees One Lakh per annum
Examination Fee
The Examination fee is for OC and BC is Rs 100/- . For SC and ST students the examination fee is Rs 50/- only.
Qualifying Marks
Required qualifying marks in the test for OC and BC at least 50 marks. For SC and ST students at least 35 marks.
Reservation
Admissions is based on the performance in entrance test and rules of reservation.
Examination
The Entrance test will be of objective type and multiple choice questions from Class 5th and the Question Paper have Four Parts for 100 marks.
Allocation of marks
- Part-I: Telugu - 25 marks
- Part-II: Maths - 25 marks,
- Part-III: EVS I and II-25 marks and
- Part-IV: English -25 marks
