District Level and State Level Best Teachers application has been placed in the concerned DEO websites. All DEOs in the Andhra Pradesh State are requested to receive the applications of best teachers from teachers under their jurisdiction. Further they are requested to recommend at least two name of teachers from their jurisdiction.
All MEO and DYEO are requested to follow conditions of eligibility for District Awards 2015, while scrutinizing the awards applications.
- At least 2000 years regular teaching experience as Teachers/ Headmasters in the recognized Primary/ Middle/ High School etc.
- The teachers who are already obtained awards at Mandal Level.
- Retired Teachers those who have served a part of the calendar year i.e at least for four months of 30th of April.
The proposals shall be recommended in the prescribed proforma ling the relevant certificates of antecedent and character and citation which shall not exceed 10 lines on each of the selected teacher. The last date for submission of proposals by the Inspector by the inspecting officer to the District Educational Officer on or before 31/08/2015 with specific recommendations.
Teachers who are applying for district level best teachers should follow and keep in mind following activities.
- Publication through descriptive posters and cinema slides.
- Organization of felicitation function.
- Organization of cultural and variety entertainment programme.
- Involving the industrial establishment/ Industrialist to contribute /Donte.
- Exhibition of special films on teachers.
- Organization of sports meets .
- Special donations from prominent and well to do citizens.
