Department of School Education, Telangana has decided to review the Summer Vacation Dates of Schools and issued new dates of Summer Vacation. According to the new dates the summer vacation has been started from 16/04/2016 to 12/06/2016 instead of 24/04/2016 to 12/16/2016. The schools reopens on 13/06/2016. Due to heavy heat waves across Telangana State students are unable to reach school. In this regard TS Education Department has rescheduled the Summer Vacation dates accordingly issued press note in this regard. The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana has reviewed the advisories issued by the Disaster Management Department on prevailing hear wave. Due to high day temperatures recorded in the state and taking feedback from the District Collectors and also considering the demand of the parents of School children, it is decided to declare holidays to all schools functioning under government / local bodies/ private Managements from 16/04/216 to 12/06/216 instead of 24/04/2016 to 12/06/2016. The Academic year 2016-17 will commence from 13/06/2016.
